Volunteer

General Volunteer Requirements for all Applicants:
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age to apply
Complete an application available from our station
Meet with Personnel Officer
Sign consent for a Criminal Background Check
Pass Criminal Background Check

Attain and Maintain CPR Certification
Participate in duty crew assignments
Attend Business and Training Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, respectively

FireFighter:
Attend Rookie Orientation
Attain and Maintain a minimum training level of FireFighter I within 18 months

Rescue Provider:
Attend Rookie Orientation
Attain and Maintain a minimum training level of EMT-B within 18 months

Junior Member’s:
Parents/Legal Guardians consent is required if under 18 years of age
Parents/Legal Guardians may withdraw membership of Junior member at any time
Must maintain a High School Grade Point Average of 2.0 or better (grade of a C equivalent)
Restricted from the station after 11:00pm on school nights
Junior FireFighting activites that are allowed are based on County of residence
