While Sunday Sundays were going on a wreck happened in Blue Ridge. Troutville Unit 253 and Read Mountain 12-1 were only a couple of the units to respond. |

2x Semi Tractor Trailer Wreck December 28, 2005
Company 12 arrived onscene to find 2 Tractor Trailers and a car envolved in a wreck at Alt220 and Read Mountain Rd. 3 people were transported to the hospital. Units On Scene included Engine 12, Utility 12, Rescue 12-2, Squad 2, 253, 254, and Utility 4. |

Single Vehicle Accident December 15, 2005
An accident occured on Thursday December 15th, 2005. The vehicle was traveling Westbound on 460 near Foodlion. Both W12 and 12-1 responded. |

Hay Fire November 20, 2005
Wagon 12, Brush 12, and Rescue 12-1 arrived on scene to a field where approx 20 hay bails were lit on fire by an unknown person. The fire was controlled and extingished with the help of Vinton Tower 2, additional man power from Vinton, and the Batalian Chief at the time. |

Car on top of Transformer September 24, 2005
Wagon 12, Rescue 12-1, Rescue 12-2 responded to a motor vehicle accident in our Roanoke County first due. Wagon 12 arrived on scene to find a Mazda sports car on top of a transformer box, with the driver already out of the vehicle. AEP arrived on scene to find that it was a 9,900 volt transformer with bare wires. We remained on scene until AEP had disconected the power to the transformer, and the car had been put on the Towtruck bed. The driver ended up not being transported to the hospital per PD on scene. |

Vehicle Accident September 18, 2005
A vehicle accident occured in front of Walmart involving a green minivan and a blue SUV. One driver was transported to RMH. The crew on scene cleaned up fluids leaking from the SUV and assisted in traffic control while the vehicles were prepared for towing. |

Car Fire on Route 604 September 16, 2005
Wagon 12 was dispatched for a car fire at approximently 0000hrs, and arrived to find a Doge Durango fully involved. The Wagon 12 crew placed a 100ft 1' 3/4 hand line in service. Wagon 12 was command for the incident. Command requested a second engine company for water supply. Engine 12 arrived onscene with water supply. Rescue 254 and Car 251 also arrived for EMS. The Fire marshal was called for investigation. Wagon 12 was on scene for about an hour during mop-up and while waiting on the Fire Marshal. Command was held by FireFighter Ketcham. |

Plantation Grove August 21, 2005
A fire occured in the garage of a house in Plantation Grove. The fire spread above the garage and into a bed room. Crews from both Read Mountain and Vinton helped in the control and extinguishment of the fire. |
